Creative professionals rely on The Applecart Press for exceptionally fine letterpress printing of promotions, announcements, invitations, certificates, holiday greetings, notecards, identity materials, packaging, hangtags, paperback covers, endpapers, specialty books and publications-and other printed communications that merit the distinctive, tactile, memorable qualities unique to the letterpress process. New projects are typically submitted as digital electronic layout files (most commonly QuarkXPress, InDesign, Illustrator, or PDF files, though we can also work with other formats) from which we output film and manufacture photopolymer relief plates for printing on our production letterpresses. We also have access to traditional "hot metal" typesetting in a range of classic typefaces and sizes for projects that call for a classic touch.
