Acme Bookbinding is a full service bindery operating from a modern 100,000 square-foot facility. Acme's new Kolbus Ratiobinder runs at 8,000 paperback books per hour, complementing our 3,000 book per hour VBF hardcover casing line. These lines are backed up by modern folding, gathering, sewing, gluing, casemaking, laminating, foil stamping, jacketing and shrink wrapping machines. Acme's unique equipment and expertise allow us to achieve European quality on the most demanding jobs. State-of-the-art systems enable us to meet any schedule. Acme offers commercial binding, short-run book production, library binding, custom turned edge binders, and foil stamping. Commercial binding: hardcover case binding or paper cover, either Smyth-sewn, notched-adhesive or perfect bound, including standard size, oblong and oversized books in runs of 100 to 200,000. Short-run book production: digitally printed with hardcover binding in runs of 1 to 1,000. Library binding: Hardcover binding of periodicals and converting of paperbacks into hardcover or hardcover into paperback. Acme Bookbinding has been "Preserving the Printed Word Since 1821."
